"Topographical" military campaign commemorative powder horn inscribed "The City of Havana Illuminated at the Embarkation of the British Troops July 7th 1763". Light color body is line engraved (highlighted in black ink) with a flat grid plan of a walled city showing labeled details of fortification and an city horizon view outline showing steeples and flags. Three sailships in front of city. Nailed wooden plug with iron staple. Dark tip with decorative ring. Has also a stylized English crown and "G3R" and "owner's" initials "G*S". Made in British American Colonies.
