Bottom portion of field medical case, used for field medical care. Case is kidney shaped. Composed of tarred leather. Flat front surface has buckle attachment. Sides have tacks for carrying strap. Interior is textile lined, dived into four storage areas. Case put up by the U. S. Medical Purveying Depot, New York. To be carried by the surgical orderly or in an emergency by the surgeon himself. Carried suspended by the shoulder and supported by a waist strap.
